Description

As Project Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Site Managers, overseeing a housing contract delivering major Kitchen/Bathroom refurbishment for stock across the Midlands based out of a hub in Manchester.

Strong leadership of HSQ&E, ensuring that all activity and reporting is accurate.

Ensure that projects are led and managed effectively.

Report areas of opportunity and risk that may impact on the business plan.

Responsible for achieving an integrated service delivery for all site activities.

Work closely with the Commercial team ensuring that all matters relating to commercial and operations are fully aligned and managed.

Ensure that work carried out that is outside of the scope of the contract is notified and approved by the customer.

Assist Senior Management in agreeing with the customer.

Set out and agree a plan to deliver the objectives, communicate with all staff and monitor performance.

Lead the direct reports, ensuring they consistently complete responsibilities.

Manage the People responsibilities of the team.

Analyse designs and specifications, working closely with the design team to verify compliance with ER's, CP's and budget and determine feasibility and technical suitability.

Responsible for, in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor, the preparation of accurate CVR's, the achievement and improvement of the project target profitability, the identification of project risks and opportunities and advise on forecast monthly turnover.

Profile

Proven housing refurbishment background for a main contractor desirable and ideally from a prior trade background

Experience operationally leading teams on site

Proven track record delivering this projects within social housing

Proven ability to prepare and monitor works programmes

Ability to prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients

Ability to prepare and present Construction Phase Plans
