Cobalt are delighted to be working alongside a reputable Managing Agent in the property world who are seeking an experienced FM professional to take on a Senior Building Manager to oversee a portfolio of buildings in Manchester City.

This role will see you provide a best-in-class level of service delivery across a key client, while also having the ability to manage maintenance projects and budgetery requirements.

The buildings in question range from circa 100,000 - 250,000 sq. ft. property that comprises a mixture of retail, commercial office, and leisure space.

Our client is a long-standing property giant, who are looking to add to their ever-growing facilities management division with an experienced hire. They boast an enviable track record of progression within their company for those who are seeking to take their FM career to the next level.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Taking the lead on M&E projects, including CAT A fit-outs and assisting with the mobilisation process and current refurbishment project.

  • Setting, managing, and reconciling the service charge budget.

  • Monitoring the work of contractors for both hard and soft services.

  • Conducting regular inspections of the asset to instruct any reactive works if necessary.

  • Ensuring the professional needs of the tenants within the building are catered to accordingly.
