Sonic Summary

The position of Import Merchandiser is available with a leading supplier of children's wear located just outside Manchester City Centre.
The salary for this role is dependent upon experience, and candidates should have prior experience as an Import Merchandiser.
The successful candidate will manage a variety of children's wear products and work directly with factories in countries such as China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India.
Key responsibilities include overseeing order placements, maintaining critical paths, and approving various samples and materials.
While experience in children's wear is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for applicants.

Import Merchandiser

Manchester (Just outside of the City Centre)

My Client, a leading supplier of beautiful children's wear now has an excellent opportunity for an Import Merchandiser to join their team based on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre.

You will work on a wide range of children's wear products including general clothing, coats, swimwear, pyjama's etc.

Working with factories in China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India you will be allocated factories to merchandise; from placement of orders up to shipment of bulk and will be responsible for maintaining critical paths, approving lab dips, trims, fabrics, samples etc.

You will also have some customer accounts to look after.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Import Merchandiser, candidates with children's wear experience would be of particular interest but this is not a pre-requisite for the role.
