18Recruitment are actively seeking a Head of Mobilisation, working within Block and Estate Management for a leading Property Management company. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the North West or willing to relocate.
They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition of newly awarded contracts. They will work closely with the Bid Team at the tender stage, oversee the mobilisation phase, and ensure a seamless handover to the Operations Team.
The primary objective will be to establish strong client relationships and ensure all mobilisation actions are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
- Manage administrative tasks, including compiling asset registers, printing H&S documentation, and setting up PPM planners.
- Provide training and support to sites on business processes and procedures.
- Review tender/contract scope of work and develop a retention strategy.
- Identify and mitigate risks or challenges that could impact successful contract delivery.
- Lead the mobilisation, re-mobilisation, and de-mobilisation of contracts.
- Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring all mobilisation actions are completed on time.
- Coordinate with internal business support departments throughout the process.
- Work closely with subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed within budget and agreed timeframes.
- Chair weekly meetings/calls with the operations team and clients, providing progress updates and sharing the mobilisation plan.
- Offboarding Management and Compliance. Oversee offboarding of lost developments, ensuring compliance and flagging risks.
- Progress Tracking & Risk Mitigation. Monitor demobilisations, assign ownership, and create mitigation plans to ensure smooth transitions.
- Stakeholder Relationship & Business Retention: Prioritise key relationships with clients to secure future business and manage project instructions effectively.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years working with Block and Estate Management at Senior level.
- MTPI/ MIRPM qualified desirable or AssocRICS.
- Experience within Mobilisation and Bid work working within the Property Management.
- Highly organized professional that understands the requirements for handing over management of developments.
- Possessing project management experience and successfully lead the implementation and adoption of new projects.
- You will be a confident communicator who is able to build relationships and influence stakeholders to find creative solutions to challenge.
Salary: 60,000 to 80,000 (DOE)
