Land Acquisition Specialist(s)Salary of £50,000-70,000 dependent on candidate experience.Hybrid working/extensive site visiting opportunities.Following an influx of project pipeline, and significant growth of their team on all fronts, a client of Piper Maddox are looking at growing out their in-house land acquisition capabilities. With a focus on utility scale solar and battery storage technology, this role with either be centred around the Midlands, or Northern England.Our client has excellent financial backing by one of the largest greenfield renewables investment funds and also has a stable EPC partnership, ensuring feasible and stable connections to the grid for their project pipeline. These partnerships have allowed this company to create a strong track record of developing over 2GW of renewable energy assets and they are not looking to slow down!With their operations being UK wide, our client are looking at adding to their existing land team with land acquisition specialists to cover the North of England and the Midlands respectively. These positions will play and important role in identifying, sourcing, and acquiring suitable land for renewable energy development.Some key considerations for a suitable candidate: > Experience acquiring land, including the commercial negotiations that go into a land acquisition process - HoTs, LOAs etc.> A proactive attitude to be out meeting with landowners and ensuring that our client is represented appropriately in matters such as public consultations.> Must be comfortable engaging with landowners in a rural setting and have experience in curating long-standing and valuable partnerships with these landowners.> A passion and drive for the renewable energy industry as well as a desire to contribute to the clean energy transition.You would be joining up with a highly collaborative team where the sharing of ideas and expertise is valued and a big part of the company culture. While prior renewables experience is useful, this would also be a fantastic opportunity for a land manager from a different background, or a development surveyor looking to transition into the fast-growing renewable energy sector.Piper Maddox is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
