A highly ranking Commercial Law Firm are hiring for a Property Paralegal to join their thriving team in Manchester City Centre.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Property team by providing comprehensive assistance in various aspects of property law. As a Property Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing and organising legal documents, preparing contract packs, liaising with clients and external stakeholders, running a small caseload, document review, and assisting with the preparation of necessary transaction documentation. You will collaborate closely with clients and various stakeholders to ensure that all matters related to property transactions are handled efficiently and effectively. Your expertise in property law will enable you to perform critical tasks including title searches, drafting closing documents, and managing deadlines to ensure compliance with property regulations. This position demands a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike. Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Partner & Team in preparing agreements and other legal documents related to property transactions.
- Conduct title searches and analyse title reports to identify any potential issues that may affect property ownership.
- Draft and review documents, including settlement statements and deed transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible for review.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, and other parties to manage timelines for transactions.
- Assist in the due diligence process for property acquisitions, including reviewing contracts and identifying any legal risks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Executive within Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of property law and real estate transaction processes.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
The role will be full time based in Manchester City Centre.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
