Locum Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (Band 8a)
Location: Manchester Area
Role: Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Hours: Flexible, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £40 - £45 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting in the Manchester area, working with adult clients. This locum role offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting service development and transformation within our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for adult clients
- Contribute actively to service development and transformation initiatives across the service
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
- Support clients' recovery and well-being through evidence-based psychological therapies
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, ideally with experience in a hospital or NHS setting
- Band 8a level experience or equivalent
