Role: Locum Clinical or Counselling Psychologist - CAMHS
Hours: Flexible, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
Rate: £40 - £45 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in a hospital setting within the Manchester area. This locum role presents an exciting opportunity to support children, adolescents, and their families, while also contributing to service transformation and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, formulations, and provide evidence-based interventions for young people and their families
  • Engage in service development and transformation to enhance CAMHS care provision
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered support for young people
  • Promote emotional and psychological well-being through tailored, evidence-based therapies

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with CAMHS or NHS experience
  • Band 8a level experience or equivalent
