Senior People & Culture Advisor

Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 per annum
Location: Manchester City Centre (hybrid working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours (flexibility required)

Our client is seeking a Senior People & Culture Advisor to join their team in Manchester City Centre. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide HR advice, guidance, and coaching on people-related matters, focusing on absence management, performance management, and employee engagement. What you'll do:

As a Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting line managers by providing HR advice, guidance, and coaching on people-related matters. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you act as a point of contact for all leadership and employees for people & culture matters in the UK. You will have the opportunity to implement, manage and monitor People & Culture policies while delivering training on these policies. Your analytical skills will come into play as you deliver People & Culture project outcomes in various areas including on-boarding & off-boarding, leadership, learning, development, career pathways, capability, performance management, analytics, reporting and payroll.

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
  • Act as a point of contact for all leadership and employees for people & culture matters in the UK
  • Implement, manage and monitor People & Culture policies and deliver training on these policies
  • Deliver People & Culture project outcomes in areas such as on-boarding & off-boarding, leadership, learning, development, career pathways, capability, performance management, analytics, reporting and payroll
  • Support with provision of monthly reporting and analysis on turnover, headcount, diversity, and other ad-hoc requirements
  • Manage the Gender Pay Gap reporting and initiatives
  • Oversee HR systems to ensure effective functionality for all People & Culture processes
  • Review results for employee engagement surveys and create initiatives in line with business objectives against survey results

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior People & Culture Advisor role will bring a wealth of experience from previous roles in generalist HR or Snr HR Advisor/Jnr HRBP positions. You will hold a CIPD Level 5 in People Management or an equivalent qualification. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills will be essential in this role along with your excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Your ability to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, being computer literate and technology-minded will be beneficial.

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification
  • Proven work experience in a senior generalist HR or HRBP role
