Job title: Technical Supervisor

Location: Static site in Trafford Park, Manchester

Terms: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Salary/rate: Salary is paying between £47,000 - £48,000 Per annum.

Requirements:

* City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Engineering

* 18th Edition

* Experience leading a team

* High & Low Voltage (Desired)

About the role: We are looking to take on board a technical supervisor with an electrical bias to be lead a team based within a critical data centre in Trafford Park, You will be leading a team of multi-skilled engineers on site while also still being hands on when necessary


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the completion of PPM and reactive works at Trafford park, Manchester Datacentre
  • Provide supervision to site engineers and ensure that contractual commitments are met, Ensuringcompliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Ensure contracts are staffed by full competent teams who fully understand the required standards they must adhere to.
  • Assist the management team to deliver the best-in-class service which is customer focused within all
  • areas of operational activities
  • Acting as the first point of contact and support for the engineering teams, giving leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support where required to deliver best practice, training,assessment, and recognition/reward.
  • Ensure maintenance is carried out in line with H&S procedures, using the SSOW (safe systems of work) where required and action improvements identified during the building and workplace inspectionsand reviews.
  • Escalate urgent issues. Respond to work interruptions, outages, or emergencies consistent with the SLA.
