Procurement and Business Partner

£250 to £300

Manchester (Hybrid)

Procurement and Business Partner opportunity with a NHS client for a four to twelve-month temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional with recent NHS experience to use their existing skill set to add value.

Procurement and Business Partner working as part of a friendly team you will use your existing sills to add value to an evolving management accounts team:

Key responsibilities of the Procurement and Business Partner

  • Manage and lead the procurements for assigned business areas
  • Develop and implement policies for managing programmes of work and quality assurance procedures within Procurement and contract management that impact across the organisation
  • Develop, operate and maintain systems and processes to meet the organisation's contract management and procurement requirements.
  • Support contract management groups via business partnering
  • Support and deliver Procurement and contract management strategy ensuring accountability, training and support to staff at all levels
  • Interpret new procurement standards and DHSC Directives and implement system change accordingly.
  • Support contribute and as directed lead on the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies to ensure an efficient and effective procurement function.

Required skills and experience of the Procurement and Business Partner:

  • NHS experience or relevant Public Sector experience
  • Recent Procurement Business Partnering experience
  • Excellent communication skills
