We're hiring a Category Manager to lead the Professional Services category for a leading blue-chip organisation based in the North West.
If you're experienced in running RFPs, developing procurement strategies, and managing high-value contracts across Legal, Audit, Consultancy or similar, this could be your next strategic move.
What you'll be doing:

Lead end-to-end sourcing and tendering (RFI/RFP/RFQ) across the Professional Services category

Design and deliver strategic procurement plans that drive value, reduce risk, and support business goals

Engage with senior stakeholders across Legal, HR, Finance and more to understand needs and influence decision-making

Deliver supplier performance management and contract optimisation

Keep on top of market trends and identify new opportunities for innovation or cost saving
What we're looking for:

Proven experience in managing the Professional Services category (Legal, Tax, Audit, Consultancy, etc.)

Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement

A strong grasp of procurement best practices, governance, and commercial risk management

MCIPS (or working towards) is ideal, but not essential
