Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager vacancy for a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers hybrid working and a generous benefits package that includes flexi-leave and study support.

The Role:

  • Responsible for end-to-end procurement projects in line with PCR 2015 and PCR 2023
  • Oversee the contracts register, ensuring supplier relationships are managed
  • Develop strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure procurement activity falls in line with the organisation’s visions and values
  • Advise departments on relevant procurement legislation
  • Assist with the development of a robust procurement strategy
  • Ensure value for money is maximised on projects and social value implemented

The Person:

  • Public Sector procurement experience
  • Worked on high value projects
  • MCIPS or working towards
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Autonomous worker
