Your Responsibilities:
- Manage tenders for external contractors and provide expert advice on complex procurement activities.
- Lead contract negotiations and supplier management, ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
- Delegate and cover for the Associate Director of Procurement when required.
- Develop and implement policies for quality assurance and governance over IT expenditure.
Key Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of procurement methods and business analysis techniques.
- Proven experience in public sector purchasing and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
