Job Title: Purchasing Administrator/Junior Buyer Location: Trafford Park Salary: £27,000 per annumType: PermanentWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator / Junior Buyer to join our client in Trafford Park.In this role, you will support the purchasing process by assisting with the sourcing, ordering, and management of supplies, services, and materials needed for company operations. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, ensuring inventory is maintained and production needs are met efficiently.The Role:
  • Assist in driving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness across the company
  • Monitor stock levels and liaise with senior buyer
  • Ensuring timely delivery/receipt of goods and services
  • Collaborating with all departments to ensure smooth purchasing operations
  • Auditing/data entry on ERP system
  • Responsible for processing and managing purchase orders
  • Managing existing suppliers/relationships
  • Assisting in negotiation
  • Understanding and supporting tasks linked to forecast and inventory
The candidate:
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or supply chain
  • Relevant purchasing qualification/CIPS Course
  • Proficient in Office 365
  • Previous experience in working with an ERP system
