Purchasing Clerk | Media Owner| £28,000 - £32,000 + Benefits | Manchester |

Hybrid & Permanent role

An Purchasing Clerk is required to work for a leading Media business based in Manchester (hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within Purchasing in a large and well known media brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure policy and process compliance through data reporting, assessments, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor supplier accounts and reduce overdue claims and rejections.
  • Deliver compliance training and educate staff on purchasing policies and best practices.
  • Resolve issues by investigating root causes and proposing process improvements.
  • Maintain clear documentation and support continuous improvement efforts across teams.

Skill set Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in a Purchasing Clerk, Puchase to Pay or Accounts Payable role
  • Strong experience in raising Purchase Orders and end to end process
  • Experience working for a large and complex business / shared service centre
  • Great attention to detail along with strong data skills (advanced excel desirable)
  • Fast paced and time efficient
  • Inquisitive and a problem solver
  • Great communication skills
