Hybrid & Permanent role
An Purchasing Clerk is required to work for a leading Media business based in Manchester (hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within Purchasing in a large and well known media brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure policy and process compliance through data reporting, assessments, and corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier accounts and reduce overdue claims and rejections.
- Deliver compliance training and educate staff on purchasing policies and best practices.
- Resolve issues by investigating root causes and proposing process improvements.
- Maintain clear documentation and support continuous improvement efforts across teams.
Skill set Required:
- 1+ years of experience in a Purchasing Clerk, Puchase to Pay or Accounts Payable role
- Strong experience in raising Purchase Orders and end to end process
- Experience working for a large and complex business / shared service centre
- Great attention to detail along with strong data skills (advanced excel desirable)
- Fast paced and time efficient
- Inquisitive and a problem solver
- Great communication skills
