Our dynamic client, a thriving homewares brand, is seeking an experience Senior Buyer to join their fast-paced and energetic team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to make a significant impact in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse consumer buying patterns and predict future trends in home goods
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, particularly with partners in China and India
Implement and manage end-to-end best practices including QA, sourcing, supply chain, and warehousing
Attend trade shows and visit factories as required
Work with Assistant buyer and buyer

Lead product development meetings and facilitate design selection for ranges
Develop range costing sheets and engage in range building
Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing teams

Prepare and analyse annual budgets
Manage pricing and overall promotion of multiple product categories
Optimize sales through close collaboration with internal stakeholders

Ensure comprehensive understanding of market performance
Continuously assess consumer, customer, supplier, and competitor landscapes

Experience

Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier selection
Homewares/ Fashion background
Knowledge of dealing with grocers preferred
Proven track record in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
Strong analytical skills for consumer trend prediction and budget management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building supplier relationships
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
