Our client is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Buyer of Raw Materials to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence key internal stakeholder relationships and drive the delivery of Group Purchasing objectives within a blue-chip manufacturing environment

What you'll do:

As the Senior Buyer, your role will be pivotal in influencing key internal stakeholder relationships to drive the delivery of Group Purchasing objectives. You will be entrusted with the procurement of a diverse portfolio of materials within a category. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing portfolio sourcing strategies that align with business requirements. You will also play a significant role in delivering on KPIs relating to cost, cash, quality, service, and continuity of supply for the portfolio. Your ability to identify and implement material price reduction projects through the business will be highly valued.

  • Influence key internal stakeholder relationships to drive delivery of Group Purchasing objectives.
  • Procure a portfolio of materials within a category.
  • Develop and execute portfolio sourcing strategies that meet business requirements.
