A leading Chemical Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Quality Analyst / Quality Technician to join their team. This Quality Analyst / Quality Technician will carry out material testing and authorise the release of raw materials and finished products, to maintain the calibration and functionality of the laboratory, and to deputise for the Quality Manager.

This role will require experience in a Chemical / Food / Pharmaceutical / Cosmetics manufacturing environment.

This role is site based and post study work visas / sponsorship cannot be considered.

Quality Analyst / Quality Technician responsibilities include

  • Sample, test, release, and log all incoming raw materials
  • Test and log all finished goods, reporting back to production
  • Generate Certificates of Analysis/Conformity for customer orders
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, arranging externally where required
  • Order and maintain consumables for the laboratory process
  • Review and maintain laboratory documentation in the Quality Management System
  • Report and assist in the investigation and resolution of Non-Conformances related to Quality Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
  • Assist in site internal audits to ISO 9001 standard
  • Assist in the training of production operatives in the training of lab processes
  • Deputizing for the Quality Manager responsibilities of the concession process and change control process in their absence

You will ideally be Degree qualified / equivalent in a Science discipline and have laboratory experience, ideally within Chemical Manufacturing / Experience of Batch Manufacturing processes – Food/Chemicals/Cosmetics.
