As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (QS), you will manage both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services, demonstrating strong technical abilities and a solid understanding of commercial principles. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the Healthcare, Education, and Commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Pre- and Post-Contract Services: Take responsibility for all aspects of quantity surveying duties across projects, from inception to completion.

Cost Management & Estimating: Assist with detailed cost estimates, preparation of tender documents, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.

Project Involvement: Work on projects from start to finish, attending design team and site progress meetings as required.

Contract Knowledge: Assist with NEC/JCT forms of contracts and perform valuation checks.

Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team under supervision.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

A BSc degree in Quantity Surveying and be working towards Chartered Status (MRICS), with at least 2 years of professional experience.

Experience in healthcare projects is advantageous.

Solid understanding of cost management and quantity surveying practices.

Familiarity with NEC/JCT forms of contract.

Ability to contribute to all stages of a project, from initial design to final completion.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage in design team meetings and site progress updates.

A full UK driving licence.
