Our client, a leading name in the faade industry, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Greater Manchester.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with an experienced team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in managing costs and contracts for a variety of exciting projects. Your role will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, tenders, and budgets.
  • Supporting the measurement and valuation of works.
  • Helping with subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
  • Conducting site visits and supporting project progress evaluations.
  • Assisting with financial reporting and managing project variations.


What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Some knowledge of the construction or faade industry (desirable but not essential).
