This is an opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work with a Tier 1 contractor specialising in high rise development and large- scale infrastructure.
About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the commercial manager overseeing the project, on a large 75m high rise development.
Responsibilities for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
- Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement.
- Preparation of internal cost reporting measures.
- Undertaking all tasks in a timely fashion and as required by management.
Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor:
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Have a strong Main Contractor background.
- Industrial experience is required.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying position.
- A degree/equivalent qualification (HNC/HND).
