About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Quantity Surveyor from a house building or main contracting background to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial management and commercial success of our construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function for construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Assess and value variations, change orders, and interim payments.
  • Manage risk assessments and contractual disputes.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on project finances and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in the procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry specifically from House building or main contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel and industry-specific tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
