PQ Recruit is excited to present an opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client, a reputable Housing company based in Greater Manchester. This role is ideal for a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong foundation in the general construction or housing sector. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing costs for various housing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that budgets are maintained and projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders and contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the project.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within the general construction or housing sectors. Groundworks QS also considered. 
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting a very large project effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
