Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a background in the fire protection sector, to provide key commercial support across a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert commercial assistance to project teams.
- Review terms and conditions at the tender stage.
- Prepare monthly project progress valuations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions of variations.
- Monitor site progress and identify potential delay events.
- Support and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
- Attend site visits and client meetings, ensuring strong communication and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in the fire protection sector is preferred, but candidates with a background in construction services will also be considered.
- Strong analytical ability and a talent for interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Solid knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
