This role offers a start to finish service, involving tasks from acquiring drawings, measuring, visiting sites, producing scheduled rates, to tendering, cost analysis, and charge-outs. The company is looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to contribute to their continued success.

Job Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, providing end-to-end service from initial measurements and site visits to producing scheduled rates, cost analysis, and tendering. The role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive quantity surveying and estimating services from project inception to completion.

Drawing Management: Acquire and analyze project drawings.

Site Visits: Conduct occasional site visits for accurate measurements and assessments.

Scheduled Rates: Produce detailed scheduled rates for various elements of the project.

Tendering: Prepare tendering documentation, cost analysis, and charge-outs.

Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, including blue-chip names with a smaller footprint.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the retail construction sector.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering processes, and scheduled rates.

Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Familiarity with clients in the retail sector.
