Our client are a versatile Main Contractor that specialises in new build and refurbishment projects valued up to 3m. They deliver a wide range of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, leisure, education, and industrial.

They are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their business.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
  • Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
  • Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
  • Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Cost control and value management strategies.
  • Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of the project
  • Manage cash flow.
  • Manage subcontractor payments.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues.
  • Variation Account and forecast final accounts.
