Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting cost analysis, project valuations, and feasibility studies for steel structures and related materials
  • Overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractor relationships
  • Conducting site visits to verify project scope, assess costs, and ensure financial alignment with project goals
  • Identifying potential financial risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Collaborating with project managers to streamline cost management and enhance value without compromising on quality

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the steel industry or closely related fields
  • Strong understanding of steel material costs, procurement processes, and contract management
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a results-driven mindset
  • Proficient in cost management software, MS Excel, and industry-standard tools
