This is an excellent opportunity for a Client Side – Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager looking to move away from a large corporate to join a dynamic and very successful building consultancy punching way above its weight with an ever-increasing workload from high profile blue chip retail clients to residential developers and large commercial clients.

Requirements:

This consultancy is looking to add a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to the team on schemes from £1M to £20M.

You will take full responsibility for overseeing the commercial and financial aspects of assigned projects, handling the day-to-day commercial issues and be responsible for managing all the related project activities.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying with 5 + years experience
  • Ideally Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively with senior stakeholders, being customer/client focused whilst delivering time and quality critical objectives.
  • Proven experience of working on large projects with blue chip clients.
  • Ability to manage relationships whilst maintaining trusted relationship with team and peers.
  • Proven effective coordination, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Leeds based or can get to Leeds for office days
  • Flexible office / agile working
  • Happy to travel to projects throughout the UK
  • Able to work independently

This is a permanent role with excellent career progression potential. Salary is to £55,000pa (depending on experience) + car allowance + package.
