Responsibilities:

  • Conducting detailed cost analysis for housing projects and preparing accurate estimates
  • Monitoring and managing project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the process
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to develop accurate project specifications
  • Evaluating tenders and proposals, negotiating contracts, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conducting regular site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Handling any disputes or claims related to quantity surveying matters
  • Utilising state-of-the-art software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying in the housing industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Valid driver's licence, as driving is required for this role
