Our cleint is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to oversee a significant multi million pound infrastructure project. If you're ready to make your mark in the construction industry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a major infrastructure project, managing works including drainage, ducting, roads, hard landscaping, and elements of blockwork.
- Ensure monthly applications are submitted on time and meet high standards.
- Negotiate and agree on monthly applications with the client's Quantity Surveyor.
- Record and value all additional works accurately.
- Conduct on-site measurements and re-measure from drawings.
- Manage the procurement of materials and subcontractors effectively.
- Monitor site progress against the program and identify any potential delays.
- Keep track of costs and ensure they are within the agreed budget.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 9 GCSEs (grades A-C), including Maths and English.
- A degree qualification, ideally in a construction-related field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
