We are searching for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to further establish their career within a growing consultancy and gain experience working across a variety of projects and sectors.

The Role

In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Cost & Project Management business requirements. You will be integral to business operations and given autonomy to undertake your own projects and be self-sufficient in the role. You will engage in the full range of commercial and contractor support and work across multiple projects across the North West. These projects can range from extensions for small contractors, through to large civils projects, high value buildings to specialist energy contractors and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive commercial support including Measurement, Estimating, Contract Review/Administration & procurement.
  • Manage interim valuations, variation management, cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and final account settlements.
  • Engage in project management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Background experience in subcontracting, contracting, or PQS would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work autonomously and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professionalism, approachability, and a strong team player.
  • RICS accreditation, or willingness to achieve.
  • A strong passion for continuous improvement and further development.
  • Strong client management, communication, and presentation skills.
