Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge wall system solutions, specializing in fire stopping, dry lining, and innovative partitioning systems. With a strong reputation for quality, compliance, and client satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in fire stopping or dry lining to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for fire stopping and dry lining projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and building standards.
- Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, manage variations, and ensure profitability.
- Provide expert guidance on cost-effective solutions, value engineering, and material selection.
- Produce accurate reports, ensuring transparency and accountability for all stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in fire stopping, dry lining, or related construction fields.
- Comprehensive understanding of fire safety regulations, building codes, and dry lining systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Membership in RICS or CIOB is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering results under tight deadlines.
