Quantity Surveyor – North West - £55,000 - £65,000 & Package

 

I am currently recruiting for a main contracting QS to deliver new build apartment projects throughout the North West. You will be expected to work as the key part of the commercial team and closely with the operational division to deliver new build projects between £5M - £20M. Based out of head office in Manchester you will control projects across the North West, predominantly Greater Manchester. Projects are predominantly RC frame and city centre based.This is a great company with a strong pipeline of work along with realistic growth plans in place. There will be plenty of opportunity to grow with the business. 

Quantity Surveyor Salary

  • Salary £55-65k plus (Dependant on experience)
  • Additional benefits to be discussed

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

  • Ensuring project costings are met
  • Ensuring compliance with the project requirements
  • Agreeing variations
  • Processes claims and payments
  • Producing and managing costing reports
  • Considering the Environmental Assessment Methods requirements when choosing suppliers and agreeing products/materials costs
  • Review, prepare and issue Forecast Final Account (Cost Report)
  • Prepare, submit final account on completion of works

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

  • Over 5 years' working as a QS within the construction industry 
  • High Rise Experience 
  • A-Level, HND, NVQ or Degree level qualified
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook

Interviews are available next week and can be organised as soon as it suits both parties.
