Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Developer - Manchester
Salary: 58,000 + Attractive Package

Our client, a prominent high-rise developer in Manchester, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to the delivery of innovative and high-profile high-rise projects. Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and commercial matters on high-rise development projects. From the initial stages through to project completion, you will ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
  • Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions
  • Monitor project costs and report on cost control, ensuring projects are kept within budget
  • Identify and manage risks, variations, and changes to the scope of work
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Provide support and advice to senior management and project teams

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the high-rise or construction sector
  • Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration
  • Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation is desirable)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
