The Senior Quantity Surveyor position is located in Salford & Northwest and is a full-time, permanent role.

The role involves managing commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, final account negotiations, and overseeing junior surveyors throughout the project lifecycle.

Projects on average will range between £10 - £50 million across the following sectors: Leisure, Defence, Education, Healthcare and Commercial.

Duties and responsibilities:

Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
Manage junior Surveyors

Experience:

Main contractor experience as the SQS with a regional / national contractor
Experience of different contract forms
Experience on projects ranging between £10m to £50m
Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team
