Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy with several offices located around the UK. We are looking to speak with a talented Chartered Quantity surveyor, who is looking to play an integral role in the Cost Management team that works on projects ranging from £30m to £500m+.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the leadership team in identifying new opportunities, business planning and securing repeat business.
  • Preparing cost estimates, high level feasibility studies, and detailed cost plans at all project stages
  • Evaluate variations, implement strong post-contract cost controls, and negotiate final account settlements.
  • Take lead on all cost management aspects from inception through to completion.
  • Support and ensure the development of junior members of the cost management team.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with high-profile clients to the highest possible standards.

Skills & Experience:

  • Hold a RICS-accredited degree.
  • Achieved Chartered status (MRICS).
  • Experience with projects of a technically complex nature.
