My client is a UK leading blue-chip contractor predominantly delivering high quality CAT A and CAT B fit out projects throughout the UK. They have gained an outstanding reputation for delivering a number of illustrious projects ranging from smaller schemes to large scale projects, valued up to 200m.

They are now seeking an experienced and talented Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Cost control and value management strategies.
  • Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements
  • Manage subcontractor payments.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues.
  • Variation Account and forecast final accounts.
  • Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.
  • Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.
  • Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.
  • Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
