Our client is a leading Regional Main Contractor specialising in student accommodation, mixed use developments, retail, residential developments, hotels and sport and leisure. They offer cutting-edge knowledge and experience in sustainability and digital construction to deliver exceptional results across both the public and private sectors.
They are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business and work on a large D&B residential scheme in Manchester.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast.
- Assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.
- Assist in the control of contract budgets.
- Prepare monthly valuation reports
- Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.
- Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
- Attend and contribute to meetings when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Monitor the contract progress
