Senior Quantity Surveyor

They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with potential for advancement to Associate Director. The candidate will be based in their Manchester office and will work on a variety of projects, predominantly in the commercial sectors.

Due to an increasing workload across a wide range of projects, they are looking for an additional senior-level team member. The ideal candidate is a Quantity Surveyor who will integrate well with their friendly team and be involved in all aspects of Quantity Surveying, from cost planning and pre-contract documentation to final account. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of taking on responsibilities beyond the technical scope.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a degree or a similar qualification, ideally being MRICS certified or having equivalent qualifications through extensive experience.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to carefully read and interpret instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Experience in Project Management / Employers Agent roles would be advantageous.
  • Candidates will be required to work in a customer-facing environment, providing pre-and post-contract cost management advice to a variety of clients across different sectors in the built environment.
