Our client a leading name in the civil engineering sector, is looking for a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for major civil engineering projects.
- Manage all aspects of contractual and financial management for projects.
- Conduct detailed risk analysis and cost control.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional growth within the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- NEC3/4 & JCT Contract Experience
- Estimating ability inc. experience/understanding of CESSM
- 8 years experience in a QS role, water / wastewater experience ideal but not essential
- Producing Cash Flow, Forecasts and assisting management accounts
- Tendering and Framework application support and experience
