Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager - Manchester/ North-West
Overview
Our clients are a currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager to join their growing team, working hybrid with days in the Manchester office and others working from home. The ideal candidate will be at Senior level, or an experienced mid-level QS who is ready to take that next step in the career. You should have experience of pre-contract project stage and be capable of handling take-offs/ estimating. Preferably with some experience of working client side for a consultancy.
Must have:
MRICS or Associate membership of RICS or equivalent recognised qualification.
Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 5years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally working at the pre-contract stage but capable of working post-contract also.
- Experience in commercial, residential and/or real estate sectors (or similar).
- Well versed in cost management, valuation, estimating, change management and risk management.
- Preferably experience with both JCT & NEC contracts, however JCT is more important for this position.
- Hold MRICS or similar chartered qualification.
- The successful candidate will be involved with driving the businesses success going forward, must be comfortable communicating with clients and be passionate about the work they deliver.
Expected salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (dependant on experience), remote working with days in the Manchester office and occasional project site visits. Excellent growth opportunities available. and an extensive benefits package.
