Senior Quantity Surveyor – NEC3/4

Manchester

I am currently looking for experienced and established Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a busy Engineering and Construction contractor in Manchester

You will be part of a busy Commercial Management Team, having full responsibility for the management of NEC3/4, ICC and ICE contracts on investigation works for the group mainly with main contractors

Whilst managing all commercial aspects of on-going multiple projects, you will be involved from project inception to end of project delivery, including: -

  • Detailed understanding and experience of commercially managing infrastructure projects
  • Good working knowledge of the NEC 3 and 4 ECC and PSC contracts
  • Experience in undertaking regulated procurement and maintaining compliance with the Utilities Contracts Regulations
  • Experience of cost planning, estimating and cost reporting
  • Good knowledge in using contract management systems (such as CEMAR, Fastdraft, ASITE)
  • Able to mentor and train junior staff members
  • Assist the management team with communication to the wider technical team

Degree qualified, you will have hands-on experience acquired within engineering and construction sectors, with experience of identifying & reducing commercial risks, negotiate tenders and contract documents
