A dynamic and forward-thinking Manchester-based Construction Consultancy is looking to take on an ambitious, talented Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role within this forward-thinking consultancy, offering strategic cost management and expert advice to help clients maximise value and efficiency. You'll lead the financial planning and feasibility assessments for a major portfolio of projects, driving success across a wide range of sectors.

Your first challenge? Heading up an exciting 5-year refurbishment and lifecycle programme for a prestigious Healthcare client, a 135m project involving five hospitals. Each year, you'll oversee 25-30m worth of works, including 10-15 projects that range from large-scale replacements (2-3m per package) to full-scale refurbishments. And that's just the start-similar projects are lined up in Blackburn and across the region, ensuring you'll have a varied and impactful portfolio. As well as the chance to get involved in additional sectors as you progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing a variety of exciting projects across different sectors.
• Providing expert advice to clients to enhance project outcomes.
• Developing and evaluating business plans, assessing project viability.
• Communicating and justifying investment strategies to stakeholders.
• Leading and mentoring a team of project managers and supporting junior staff.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• A RICS Accredited degree qualification
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy
• Healthcare experience is highly desirable but not crucial
• The desire to grow and lead a team, stepping to an AD role with the support of current directors
• MRICS ideally or currently working towards
