My client are a leading infrastructure and construction group delivering civil engineering, residential, commercial, retail, and student accommodation projects throughout the UK.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes secured, they are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You'll be working on a number of major civil engineering projects across the North West.

Your role will include helping oversee the commercial aspects of projects and ensuring their success, all while maintaining adherence to company protocols. You'll also ensure relationships with both clients and subcontractors/suppliers are upkept.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Engage in negotiations to establish terms and conditions for subcontracts.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee contract administration in alignment with project advancement.
  • Foster collaboration among clients and subcontractors throughout all operational tasks.
  • Document and communicate cost discrepancies.
  • Generate monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports.
  • Compile monthly valuations.
  • Contribute commercial insights for the commercial report.
