Job Profile:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy. This role involves supporting the growth of a dynamic team within a newly established Manchester office. The focus will be on delivering high-quality social housing projects while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. As a Senior Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects in the North West residential sector. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the culture and growth of the Manchester office.

Duties:
  • Prepare budget estimates and cost planning
  • Manage tender procedures and contract negotiations
  • Lead project meetings and ensure day-to-day project delivery
  • Serve as Contract Administrator/Employer's Agent
  • Conduct site visits, prepare reports, and manage project schedules
  • Manage interim payments, final assessments, and contract variations
  • Ensure project compliance with statutory approvals (Planning, Building Control)
  • Delegate and coordinate tasks within the project team
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management
  • MRICS or Associate Membership of RICS (or equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Strong experience in the social housing sector
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
Hours Of Work:
  • Weekly Hours: 36.25 hours per week
  • Core Hours: 10:00am 4:15pm
  • Flexible Start and End Times: Available
