About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Trainee to join my client's Property Receivership (LPA) & Insolvency team in Manchester. This role offers hands-on experience within a busy firm of insolvency specialists, providing structured training and exposure to LPA receiverships, property asset management, and insolvency cases. The successful candidate will gain invaluable insight into how distressed property assets are managed and disposed of, while developing a strong foundation in insolvency processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Receivership Support:

    • Assist in the management of properties under LPA receivership, ensuring they are appropriately secured and maintained.
    • Liaise with estate agents, surveyors, solicitors, and other professionals to coordinate valuations, marketing, and disposals.
    • Track property sales progress and ensure transactions are completed efficiently.
  • Insolvency Administration:

    • Support senior team members in handling corporate and personal insolvency cases.
    • Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation for insolvency proceedings.
    • Communicate with creditors, debtors, and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial & Compliance Monitoring:

    • Maintain detailed records of property assets, financial transactions, and case files.
    • Ensure compliance with insolvency and property receivership regulations.
    • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders professionally.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous experience or internships in insolvency, property, finance, or legal sectors is advantageous but not essential.
