Lettings Negotiator - Build to Rent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join a well established and rapidly growing residential property company specializing in the Build to Rent sector. This company is backed by private equity and has ambitious expansion plans, with a strong presence in the market and a commitment to delivering high quality rental homes.

About the Role

As a Lettings Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless rental experience for prospective tenants. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, conducting viewings, securing reservations, and ensuring properties are let efficiently. With a strong focus on customer service and tenancy progression, you will work closely with internal teams to drive occupancy rates and minimize void periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience via phone, email, and in person.

  • Manage incoming enquiries and proactively follow up to maximize conversions.

  • Conduct viewings and promote available units to prospective tenants.

  • Secure reservations, ensuring applicants meet the necessary referencing criteria.

  • Maintain accurate records within the company's property management system.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and resident services, to optimize lettings strategies.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's portfolio to provide expert advice to customers.

  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve lettings performance and occupancy levels.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company professionally at all times.

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in property lettings or sales is preferred.
