Imperium Financial Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a well-regarded Insolvency Business based in Manchester. This business specializes in managing properties on behalf of banks, bankrupt estates, and third parties under receivership. They are looking for an experienced Property Receivership Officer to join their team and manage a portfolio of properties in receivership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing properties in receivership, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolios.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for banks, third-party stakeholders, and insolvency practitioners.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of properties, including arranging repairs, maintenance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing tenant relationships, including handling lettings, rent collection, and resolving disputes.
  • Working closely with letting agents and property management teams to ensure properties are marketed effectively and tenancy agreements are up to date.
  • Assisting with the sale of properties under receivership, coordinating with estate agents, solicitors, and other parties.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping of all property transactions and communications.
  • Reporting to senior management on the status of the property portfolio and providing updates on receivership cases.
  • Supporting the receivership team with property valuation and budgeting tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in property management, lettings, or working for an estate agency or property company is essential.
  • A solid understanding of property law and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of properties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and third-party agents.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, ensuring deadlines and responsibilities are met.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ideal Candidate:
  • A background in property receivership is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Candidates from a property management, estate agency, or property company background are encouraged to apply.
