Estates Manager

We are on the hunt for an experienced Estates Manager to join our dedicated Estates & Facilities team to support in the day-to-day management of our extensive portfolio of over 200 properties nationwide.

Reporting into the Senior Estates & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for lease management (including renewals, breaks and exits), as well as providing a trusted and valuable service to key stakeholders across the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Contributing to the development of the Estates & Facilities Management strategy and action plan to deliver continuous improvement of estates and facilities across the organisation
  • Supporting on the proactive management of the portfolio to ensure we meet legal requirements, environmental and H&S standards
  • Supporting the finance team on all rental, service charge, rates and insurance costs for budget creation and control
  • Working with business leaders to understand ways of working and requirements
  • Supporting the business in any new lease acquisitions, ensuring that we onboard properties that are fit for purpose
  • Ensuring that the correct maintenance regime is set out from the start to ensure we comply with lease covenants
  • Building and maintaining trustworthy relationships with stakeholders and supply chain
  • Providing strategic and technical input to Marston Holdings asset management, refurbishment and new acquisition initiatives
  • Supporting the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of an EFM project
  • Ensuring all written and electronic data entry, reports, records, letters, and other documentation are completed in an accurate, comprehensive, and timely manner and logged to the appropriate CRM system

  • Strong numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong commercial knowledge and analytical skills
  • Significant experience in a similar role managing properties across multiple sites
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
